I hope this email finds you well. 

I am writing to make you aware of planned Scottish Water works that will be taking place on Tiree from Wednesday, 14 August, for approximately 10 weeks. 

To help improve infrastructure and ensure residents continue to enjoy fresh, clean drinking water for years to come, the work entails the installation of numerous meters across the island. 

The initiative aims to improve response times to burst water pipes and reduce potential interruptions to the supplies of local residents.

We always aim to minimise disruption where possible, however should we need to temporarily interrupt the supplies of residents, we will provide notification of this via letter at least 48 hours prior. 

There will be no road traffic management in place. 

Work is being carried out by both Scottish Water and contractor, MacAuley Askernish Ltd.
